 'View from the other side'

In this is an ongoing photographic project, I find memorial benches, I then sit, and contemplate the once favoured view from each eponymous bench. In the first instance this is a simple process of inhabiting the space once occupied by another - studying the view and the horizon, the line that divides sky from sea or land from cloud, a line that temporarily fixes and holds us, while life passes by. The work is recorded through a continuing series of photographs from various locations around the UK each depicting a ‘remembered view’.
